Okay, let’s get cozy—because if we’re gonna do life (or photos!) together, you should know a few things about me.
I’m Brie—wife, girl mama to sweet Ro, and dog mom to Arlo, our Australian Bernedoodle who’s convinced he’s human. I’m a homebody at heart, happiest in tidy spaces, baking something sweet, or sipping an afternoon Coke.
Mornings usually start with a latte, a YouTube video, and cuddles with my kiddos. I love Jesus, Pride & Prejudice, cows, and the color green. I’m a planner to my core and an extroverted introvert—yes, that’s a thing.
Basically, I’m your type-A, cozy-hearted, sentimental girly who loves capturing real love stories. If we end up working together, know that I’m already rooting for you, as if we’ve been friends for years.

A Bit About SHC
If you're looking for photography that feels effortless, true-to-color, and a little lived-in—in the best way—you’re in the right place. Whether it’s your wedding day, a cozy couples session, or maternity photos filled with meaning, I’m here to capture it all with care, intention, and a soft, documentary style.
Eek—weddings get me every time. There’s just something about watching two people commit their lives to one another. Jesus at the center gets me teary behind the lens, no matter how many times I’ve seen it. I cry at almost every father-daughter dance and find myself completely undone by the quiet moments in between.
My work blends timeless elegance with honest storytelling—capturing soft laughs, glances you didn’t know you exchanged, and those paused in-between moments that feel like home. I also love creating a space where you can just be—giggling, spinning, running barefoot, just like kids playing with their best friend. Free, playful, present... and beautifully you.
I create because He created. There’s something sacred about preserving this season, and I count it the sweetest honor to come alongside you and document your story with honesty and grace.
So let’s do this. Let’s savor the little things, chase the good light, and create something that truly lasts.
With love,
Brie

WORDS FROM SHC AN SHC COUPLE
I truly couldn’t have done my wedding day without Brie. She was such a steady guide throughout the entire process, always attentive and ready to meet any need that came up. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy—spending hours carefully editing out little distractions like flags and strangers. Those thoughtful details meant the world to me. My husband and I have said over and over again how lucky we were to have her as our photographer.— Megan + Bradley
