• Madalyn + Parker | Jan 25

There’s something special about slowing down after the wedding day — stepping back into your dress, taking a breath, and capturing portraits without the rush of a timeline. These extra bridal portraits at the St. Paul College Club were exactly that: creative, unhurried, and full of both movement and elegance.

From the very first frame, it felt like the perfect blend of documentary and editorial — a quiet story told through laughter, twirls, and soft glances that felt completely effortless. Her gown was a dream, her energy was radiant, and every detail (right down to the shoes and the glow of mid-day flash) came together in a way that just felt timeless.

I’m obsessed with how intentional these sessions can be — the freedom to play, to pause, to breathe together. We got everything from editorial-style shoe shots to playful cake bites and movement-filled stairwell portraits (and truly, the stairwell was the main character). Every corner of the College Club gave us something different — warmth, texture, and that little spark of creativity that makes these photos so special.

These portraits will forever be some of my favorites — relaxed, romantic, a touch editorial, and full of that quiet, effortless magic that happens when two people simply enjoy being together.

  • Pearla + Randy | July 25

Some sessions just stick with you — the kind that make you fall in love with photography all over again. Pearl and Randy’s Western-inspired couple session was one of those. From the moment the sun began dipping low across the horizon, golden light spilled everywhere, wrapping them in the warmest, most cinematic glow.

There was something about the energy between them that felt so natural and magnetic. One second they were doubled over laughing, the next they were completely still — lost in the quiet of each other’s gaze. Their chemistry carried this easy rhythm, where every movement felt unposed yet perfectly placed. From the gentle way he brushed her hair aside to the way she reached for his hand without thinking, it was as if their love had its own language, and the camera just happened to be lucky enough to listen in.

The styling, the light, the movement — everything came together in a way that felt beautifully lived-in and so them. Golden hour truly showed off for us that evening, and these frames will forever be some of my all-time favorites. It was intimate, playful, warm, and perfectly unfiltered — the kind of session that reminds me why I adore what I do.

  • Nina + New | Sept 25

From the very first moments of the day, Nina’s wedding felt like one big exhale — the kind where everyone’s shoulders drop and laughter fills the room. Her morning PJ photos were ones to remember: a joyful, genuine celebration among friends who love each other so deeply. You could feel the excitement and tenderness in every giggle, every shared glance, every quiet pause before the day truly began.

As the ceremony unfolded, golden sunlight filtered softly through the trees, wrapping everyone in warmth. It was one of those rare moments that felt both grand and intimate all at once — heartfelt vows, quiet tears, and the sweetest exchanges that reminded everyone what it’s all about.

When it came time for their portraits, the energy shifted into something beautifully unhurried. From him carrying her shoes across the lawn to the way they looked at each other like the rest of the world disappeared, every second was filled with quiet joy and deep connection.

Their day was playful, emotional, and full of meaning in every corner. It was the kind of wedding that makes you pause, smile, and remember why capturing love stories like theirs is such an honor.

  • Jenni + Pavel | Oct 25

Some wedding days just feel sacred — quiet and slow in all the best ways, with every moment wrapped in peace. Jenni and Pavel’s day at White & Sable was exactly that. From start to finish, it was intentional, family-centered, and overflowing with warmth.

Their love carries this gentle steadiness that you can feel. Jenni’s calm spirit and soft grace are something I admire so deeply, and the way Pavel looks at her says everything. It’s the kind of storybook love that feels timeless — steady, rooted, and full of quiet devotion.

The day moved with such ease. Rain came and went, but somehow, every time we stepped outside for portraits, the clouds broke just long enough for golden light to peek through. It created this dreamy, overcast-yet-glowing kind of sunset that felt like such a gift. Their ceremony and reception were filled with intention and meaning — from the décor to the words spoken, every little piece reflected their love and faith.

It was one of those days that didn’t need to be loud to be extraordinary. From soft prayers to laughter in the rain, it was pure grace from beginning to end — and one I’ll always hold close.

  • Amy + Matthew | Aug 25

This night was such a dream. I absolutely adore when couples want to do something a little different for their engagement session — something that feels like them. Don’t get me wrong, classic engagement photos will always have my heart, but there’s just something about turning your session into an experience. It becomes a memory you’ll never forget, not just a set of photos — and that’s exactly what Amy and Matthew did.

Their sailboat engagement session was pure magic. What started as a cloudy evening turned into the most golden sunset, with soft blue tones leading us right into blue hour. By the end, the air felt calm and cozy — and just as the session wrapped, a full moon peeked out over the horizon.

One of my favorite moments was capturing them from above, looking out across the water. Amy’s smile could light up a whole world, and the way Matthew looks at her… it’s the kind of look every girl hopes to be seen with. So much of this session was simply the two of them — cuddled up, soaking in the stillness, laughing quietly together — and it shows.

This evening was such a beautiful blend of documentary and editorial — relaxed, intentional, and true-to-them. I’ll cherish these photos forever, and I’ll never stop loving when couples choose to make their engagement session an experience — something that feels memorable, lived-in, and beautifully their own.

  • Milana + David | March 25

A session that felt like the softest in-between — the perfect blend of the last whispers of winter and the very first signs of spring. Milana and David’s studio maternity session carried that quiet magic of change: cozy textures, gentle light, and the anticipation of something beautiful just beginning to bloom.

They were about halfway through their pregnancy with their sweet daughter, and every moment felt soaked in tenderness. The way Milana’s dress moved as she shifted, the way David looked at her like he couldn’t quite believe what they were creating together — it all felt intentional, unhurried, and deeply meaningful. This session may have only been about forty-five minutes, but every frame felt timeless.

There’s something about maternity sessions that just holds a different kind of weight for me. Talking with couples right before they step into parenthood — before late nights and little hands and lullabies — always reminds me how sacred these moments are. They’re the kind of photographs that deserve to be cared for, cherished, and revisited for years to come.

And the best part? At the very end, David suggested a pose of his own — and it turned out to be one of my favorites. I love when partners lean into the experience, have fun, and make it their own. This session was cozy, elegant, and completely theirs — the kind of day that reminds me why I love capturing the in-between moments just as much as the big ones.

  • Megan + Dylan | May 24

Some wedding days feel big in number but small in the very best way — intimate, intentional, and deeply rooted in love. Megan and Dylan’s day was exactly that. Though their guest list was full, the day itself felt calm and unhurried, like every moment existed exactly as it should. Maybe that’s just who they are — two people whose gentleness fills a room and makes everything around them slow down a little.

Their wedding at the Edward Anna Estate felt like an extension of them — soft, timeless, and beautifully refined. From the elegant flat lays and delicate details to the candlelit warmth of their reception, every inch of the day was quietly breathtaking. The balance of tradition and elegance made the whole day feel like a masterclass in how “classic” can still be deeply personal.

And then the rain came — soft, steady, and perfectly fitting. Megan didn’t just tolerate it; she embraced it. Her dress gathered gentle raindrops, her laughter echoed through the drizzle, and as they ran down the aisle together with umbrellas in the background, it felt like something out of a storybook. Rain means good luck, after all, and for these two, it simply felt like a blessing.

Her first looks — both with her dad and with Dylan — were the kind of moments that make you pause. The smiles were real, the hugs were tight, and every emotion felt pure. Their wedding party and family portraits mirrored that same energy — elegant, joyful, and full of connection.
